Meeting And Happy Hour

UPDATE: Professor Adlai Murdoch will be speaking to us Haitian history along with the presence of US and French interests in Haiti. We will also have a discussion about the state of Haiti’s infrastructure before and after the earthquake and talk about what lies ahead for the Haitian people and the entire country.

This week we will be having another happy hour at 5pm on Friday, Jan 29th at Firehaus.  I hope everyone can make it out, get to know some new members this semester, and grab a bite!

Also, as I mentioned in the previous post, our first meeting of the semester will be next Wednesday, February 3rd at 7pm in Greg 223. Wednesday evening will be a combined informational meeting and fundraiser for Haiti, so please encourage as many people as you can to come out and support the cause.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with, and if not I’ll see you all at the happy hour!

Meeting And Happy Hour

I hope that everyone had a relaxing break and is enjoying your first week back at school. This Friday, January 22nd, at 5pm at Firehaus we’re going to be holding the first happy hour of the semester to ease back into the swing of things.

Also, the first meeting of the semester will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd.  The meeting on the 3rd will be centered on the recent tragedy in Haiti and will also be focused on raising funds for the relief effort.  Look out for an email next week with more details.

That’s it for this week, so once again I hope everyone is having a great first week back, and I look forward to seeing you all at the happy hour on Friday!
